"Amelia the Explorer" is a picture book written by Thomas Gautschi for his one-year-old daughter's birthday and illustrated by me.

Amelia Rose, a little explorer, sets off on an adventure on a sunny day in the forest behind her home. With a rucksack full of treats, she follows mysterious tracks and encounters helpful forest dwellers. A singing bird finally leads her to a hidden door, behind which a world full of wonders awaits her.
